The 14 Day Tanzania Family Safari is a small group upmarket tour which visits Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park, 4x4 game drives, The Great Rift Valley, Zanzibar Channel, Lazy lagoon.

Day 1 Mikumi National Park
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam early in the morning, you will be met by our representative for transfer to the grand Safari Express train (Sun, Tue, Fri) with on-board showers to begin your Tanzania adventure. On arrival at Selous Game Reserve, you will be transferred by vehicle to the Vuma Hills Tented Camp in Mikumi National Park. Perched on a hill, the camp offers spectacular views and sunsets over the seemingly endless plains below. This remote park excels in wild dog and lion sightings. In the evening enjoy first game drive in customized open 4 x 4 in the company of a professional guide. Lunch, Dinner and overnight will be at the Vuma Camp (LDBB)

Day 2 Ruaha National Park
After your early morning game drive and breakfast, a light aircraft will fly you to Ruaha National Park where you will be met at the airstrip for transfer to your lodge. This ruggedly beautiful park with mountains, rivers and vast plains is one of Tanzania's greatest wildlife parks minus the crowds. You will spend 3 nights at the family-run Ruaha River Lodge. Lunch dinner and overnight will be at the Ruaha River Lodge (LDBB)

Day 3 Ruaha National Park
Whole day in Ruaha with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy exhilarating 4x4 game drives in search of Lion, Leopard, Wild Dog, Cheetah and wildlife endemic to Southern Tanzania, such as Sable and Roan Antelopes Meals and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge (LDBB)

Day 4 Ruaha National Park
Another whole day in Ruaha with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight will be at the Ruaha River Lodge (LDBB)

Day 5 The Great Rift Valley
Departure at 0800hrs. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for fly to the Foxe’s Safari camp in the Great Rift Valley. Lunch, dinner and overnight will at the Fox’s Safari Camp (LDBB)

Day 6 The Great Rift Valley
You will have the whole day at leisure with activities. Meals and overnight at Fox’s Safari Camp (LDBB)

Day 7 The Great Rift Valley
You will have the whole day at leisure with activities. Meals and overnight at Fox’s Safari Camp (LDBB)

Day 8 Zanzibar Channel
Today fly to the Zanzibar and transfer to the idyllic Robinson Crusoe island of Lazy lagoon with nearly 9Kms of virtually deserted beaches. You will have the afternoon at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 9 Zanzibar Channel
Whole day at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 10 Zanzibar Channel
Whole day at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 11 Zanzibar Channel
Whole day at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 12 Zanzibar Channel
Whole day at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 13 Zanzibar Channel
Whole day at leisure. Meals and overnight at Lazy Lagoon (LDBB)

Day 14 Departure
After breakfast, fly back to Dar Es Salaam for your connecting flight back home. Our representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in.
